At bdpqReading, we believe every child deserves the tools and confidence to become a successful reader. Based in Stafford, VA, we specialize in multi-sensory reading instruction for students in preschool through 8th grade. Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, our lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to meet each child’s unique needs.

As a homeschool mom of a child with dyslexia, I know firsthand the challenges that struggling readers face and the incredible joy that comes when the right support unlocks their potential. My journey led me to become certified in the Orton-Gillingham method, and after witnessing the life-changing impact it had on my own child, I knew I had to share it with others. That’s how bdpqReading was born.

With over 16 years of experience in education and working with children, my passion is creating a nurturing, inclusive, sensory-friendly environment where wiggly kids, creative thinkers, and unique learners can thrive.
